'The Golden Shoes' - Photomontage
The Golden Shoes is a series of pictures that tell a story of a girl in search of her own identity and path in her life after being hold down by the expectations of her parents for so long. The golden shoes represent her parents' hope and dreams for her and yet despite its value, the shoes became a heavy burden to her. In her journey to liberation, will she simply abandon her parents' hope and trust?
Style and Concept
For this project, a lot of metaphorical elements were used and the visuals give the feeling of surrealism and fantasy. A simple experimentation on visual communication - to deliver a particular message to the audience through visuals.
